Awana - Because Kids Matter to God

Age 3—Grade 6

The goal of our AWANA program is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.  This is the end result, but the method in getting there is great FUN!

AWANA Club meetings are jam-packed with life-changing experiences.

Trained leaders who have a love for the Lord Jesus Christ run the clubs. We have a desire to help young people come to know, believe and understand who God is.  The club materials are filled with verses from the Bible. 

We encourage Bible memory, guidelines to help them memorize and also give the clubbers understanding of God’s Holy Bible 

We have 3 clubs according to your child's age:

Cubbies - 3 and 4 year olds

Sparks - Kindergarten – 2nd Grade program

T & T—Truth & Training - 3rd—6th  Grade

We at NFBC embrace 5 basic principles in AWANA: 

1.        Awana is centered on the Gospel.

2.        Scripture memory is a key element.

3.        Awana is exciting and fun!

4.        Children and youth are trained to serve.

5.          Awana is built on volunteer trained leadership.

When do we meet? 

Awana meets each Wednesday from 6:15-8 PM during the school year and is open to the community for all children age 3 - Grade 6.
